Great Mai Kru come in many forms and they are used for both control, the writing of spells and blessings. This is a stunning version of the Mai Kru that has a steel tip for the writing of Yantra on metal and can even be used for the writing of spells onto the body using athan oils.

The Ngiew Dam Tree is the one in Thai legend that you have to climb to get out of hell, mainly because it is covered in vicious spines and is impossible, even with the help of demons prodding you with spears. The use of the wood in amulets results in strong talismans, especially when the tree has grown in a  graveyard as is the case here. This has been hand carved as one piece, which includes the figure of the Lersi on top. It is an expensive rare wood and has been blessed the Ajarn Suea, what more could you want?

Ajarn said that besides the usual ritual to make this yours that I will send on purchase, it is best to also rub this with herbal oils periodically to keep the wood nicely oiled and beautiful. These become part of the person using them and are brought to life through the use of kata while using them. There is no kata with the item but kata accompanis everything it does and in that way this is brought to life. With Mai Kru of this type, it is important to be able to see the tip, especially when using it on metal.

An incredible item as a very reasonable price.

A 7" Ngiew Dam Wood Lersi Mai Kru by Ajarn Suea with metal writing tip

  • A Mai Kru is a teachers staff and is actually closely related to the Miit Mhor knives but they come in more varieties. These can be prai or Buddhist magic and be made from anything from potent tree roots to the metal rods that are used to turn over a corpse during cremation to ones that are made from holy trees
