The Yak or Yaksa are an extremely potent form of protection from all harm, and this is the most famous Yaksa of all, Tao Waetsuan, who guards the gates of temples and are the ogres and giants of the system. They are used frequently in various forms of Burmese amulets, most commonly on their full Panneng but here a Burmese Yaa is used to perform their task, which is for extreme protection.
The contents of this amulet are super potent and include a Yaa called Yaa Dam, Black Yaa, which banishes all black magic, curses and harmful spirits. That is one of the phials on the back and the other is blessed money to draw wealth. I love amulets like this, not only is the image on the locket excellent (it really suits its silver case too) but the force in this is up to the task of protecting you during the troubles ahead. I personally think that the next 18 months are going to be rough so sort out your protection, Metta and good fortune as we will need it (i am).
Ajarn Ting is brilliant at this sort of thing. You can trust the work of Ajarn Ting.

A Burmese Yaa Tao Waetsuan Amulet by Ajarn Ting in silver
The Yak or Yaksa are an extremely potent form of protection from all harm, especially when made with prai, although that is rare. The Yaksa guard the gates of temples and are the ogres so rightly feared in Burma, which results in their commonly use on full Panneng.
