This amulet consists of a finely carved male Panneng that has had the spirit removed and the old Master of Ajarn Tay, Phor Sala Tan invited into the piece. Not many magicians could do this but Ajarn Tay is one of the most gifted prai magicians in Thailand and grew up with Phor Sala Tan.

The back of the piece does include some of his bone and god knows how much other prai that helps build the magical body of this piece. The prai here is female  and the matrix on the back is both astonishing and raw mixture of herbs and bone powder. To this Ajarn Tay has pressed in a bone chunk, coffin nails, corpse cloth, and two Takrut, it is quite beautiful. These were produced in limited numbers and are astonishing talismans.

For strong Saneah, great fortune and anything you wish once you cannect to Phor Sala Tan. Ajarn Tay is also highly adept at placing his image firmly in the piece, which is one of my favourite aspects of his work. Use merit as a currency when praising this Panneng and it will help you with everything.
Measures 2.5" in its fine silver case and comes with Phor Sala Tan's kata. I bought all of the ones available and have just 3 left. Then they have gone.

Phor Sala Tan is THE representative of The Thai Occult practices of old.

A Classic Carved Panneng to Phor Sala Tan by Ajarn Tay in silver

  • Amulets to Phor Sala Tan show just how revered and loved this old rogue of a necromancer is in the Lanna region. The whole of his remaining bone is used for amulets so he can continue to both influence and help people with magic even now that he has passed away.

The old Master Sorcerer called Phor Sala Tan was responsible for the training of many of the new generations of Ajarns who specialised in magic from the Lanna traditions (Lanna is the name of the old Northern Kingdom). He was renowned for working with five spirits in his practices, all of which were Phi Tai Tang Glom and they are of such force that he was known for cross-dressing when performing rituals to confuse these ghosts to avoid them harming him. Phor Sala Tan was a spritely and accomplished practitioner, still following this method up to his passing away recently at 92 years of age. He reputedly had many wives and lovers, even up to his death.
