This is a rare example of a Cow Head Lersi amulet from the remarkable Phra Ajarn Supasit, who makes some fantastic talismans. He produces little but his top range stuff is always worth checking out as he is old school.
This is a finely carved Cow Head Lersi, although that is difficult to see from the pic because the oil he is in is 'dirty' as it contains the dirt found around the coffin lid it was carved from. The wood is Takien wood, which already has a potent spirit within it but this ancient coffin lid was also found on an island in the middle of a river, which has spiritual significance. In the Lanna region and in Burma, some Sak Yant are made while sitting on an island in a river as it brings extra power to the Yant. Besides the earths and oil for Saneah, Phra Ajarn has also added a Takrut to evoke this Lersi, and there is another Takrut in the filthy oil. This is a primordial amulet and very strong indeed.
The Cow Face Lersi is primarily in charge of Alchemy and his assistance can be sought in such matter. Lersi are the bestower of authority and knowledge and are above all the Thai deities, but still below The Buddha, of course. Amulet to this Lersi are very rare indeed.
Measures just under 2.65" and highly recommended. It comes with the Lersi Heart kata.
I adopre the work of Phra Ajarn Supasit.

I offer a 30 days return policy with a refund on receipt of the item but for some items I cannot do that as they need blessing again by the maker, some of whom I do not know personally. This is a problem with spiritual items but I will always endeavor to help where I can.
