This is an old issue Rahu amulet from the renowned Ajarn San Khong Waet, who is highly regarded for his magical works. This has been made using bone, which looks like elephant jaw to me and has the right feeling for it. Elephant bone has been used since ancient times for its supernatural qualities as long as the elephant died in nature and its spirit gave permission for its use.
This Rahu was released about 3 years ago and comes from old stock. The carving of the bone and added painting is of excellent quality and this Rahu is to the moon and will need offerings on the monthly phases of the moon. The back has superb scripting in Khom, with two Takrut and a dice from a gambling den inserted into a mixture that helps bring the qualities of Rahu to the wearer. Rahu likes to have offerings on full moon and Buddhist days, enjoying black foods and candles, the details of which will be given to the buyer. I love Rahu as an extremely rewarding deity if praised correctly.
Measures 1.6" and comes with the makers heart kata. A cute piece with a great energy.
A Fine Rahu Bone Amulet by Ajarn San Khong Waet
The Rahu talisman is an ancient invocation of Brahmin forces to realign the lines of fate into a more favourable direction. He has specific needs and the best ones are made from one eyed coconut, which can bring a surprising clout to the item. Rarely prai in nature but they can be made from a galaa that has been used in funerary practices of old or to mix materials for spells and incantations.
I offer a 30 days return policy with a refund on receipt of the item but for some items I cannot do that as they need blessing again by the maker, some of whom I do not know personally. This is a problem with spiritual items but I will always endeavor to help where I can.
