This is an amalgam of mercury and lead to pull luck to the bearer in the form of a Khun Paen amulet by the renowned Phra Ajarn Suppasit. The recipes for the use of mercury are extensive both in Thailand and Burma to the West and this also brings Metta and a power to the bearer to do more than they thought possible. Like a battery to take on life. The lead came from old fishing weights as they already have the four elements within - born of the earth, made in fire, fly through the air and get food from water. The Wicha for this is Burmese and a Mercury Amalgam has a few functions.

1. It can remove illness from the body and you may feel this amulet moving round your body when first wearing it. It can take time to get used to wearing this piece.

2. Brings good luck and wealth and even reputedly pulls the luck and good fortune from others.

3. These are also a reflection of the owner's destiny. When it is bright, the destiny is good  but if it dulls, take care. It is a natural omen.

4. They also lift the spirit and place the bearer in the position of having direct contact with the maker, which is why I have open cased with a silver edge to the Khun Paen. I would love to carry a full range of Mercury pieces and am currently looking for some maekasit amulets again as they are one of the particular mixes of mercury and metal to bring great fortune. At some point in the future this form of magic needs collating so we can get an idea as to how much is out there.

Measures a nudge over 1.5" and comes with the original temple case.

I adore mercury amalgams.

A Mercury and Lead Khun Paen Amulet by Phra Ajarn Suppasit - Burmese Wicha

$125.00Price
  • The practices of making amalgams of Mercury to aid the life in this region dates back before recorded history but looks to have originated in Burma. They are safe and are given the properties of highly spiritual makers, to the point where they reflect their inherent quality of magic. Remarkable items.
