Ajarn Tui is a specialist at the ancient forms of magic and Sak Yant in the Lanna region, from times when things were completely different than they are today. Many of the old monks made their name with the attribute of Kong Grapan, invincibility magic, which Ajarn Tui thinks that we need again in these times, and he has added protection while traveling to the Wicha.
The outside of this Takrut is made from a mix of male prai and the bonding agent, and that is it. Male prai is always used from strong protection as that prai has power in that way, like having a personal bodyguard. Ajarn made the tubes around sticks of wood and then put the rolled Takrut inside. The Takrut has 5 forms of Tiger magic on it with the kata for the Sura Gat Fan (Biting Tiger), Saming Lek, Saming Yai (the sizes of various forms of Tiger, big and small), Suea Phuak (The White Tiger) and Suea Dam (The Black Panther). Ajarn then acquired some original and natural black laquer from the Maai Rak Tree that has been already mixed with herbs (to take away the allergic reaction many folk have to it) and then on one side of the Takrut he scratched Akhara in it when wet, and on the other wrote on to gold leaf. We think the black side forward is the most beautiful.
The attached video is of the blessing and I wish we had caught the end of the lengthy period of chanting because Ajarn broke the stand it was one due to pressing the magic in with great force. Because of this I bought all except for one and holding these after the blessing made my hand go cold.
These highly potent pieces have been cased to hang another amulet from it. This can be a Tiger amulet or anything really and in a few weeks we will have some old style prai Somdet and Pidtaa from Ajarn, which I expect to be just as strong and will get those cased in silver. I have 10 of these and am impressed with his work. We will continue testing the forms of magic he holds while he devlops his skills further and in time, there will be a queue for these things as everything will be made in small numbers and I have all of them. It is rare now to have a cross takrut made for the purpose of hanging another amulet. This is a superb piece that can also be silver cased for an extra $60.
They measure 2.75" wide and I will attach a cord to these for any buyer.
There is a kata and these Takrut contain the magic from a bygone age.

A Potent Prai Takrut for Protection by Ajarn Tui
A Takrut is a piece of thin metal that holds a written spell and their power can be breathtaking when done by a top magician. It is also best if the Takrut holds stuff inside, like good prai or strong herbal materials. The simplest looking items can be life changing.
