This type of amulet is rare and very odd indeed. It was found in the storerooms of Wat Sanomlao and was for sale at the Wat when I visited recently. I have only ever had 2 or 3 of this type of amulet as they have to consist of a stone that is found in a spiritual place and is perfectly round in nature, formed by nature. This one originates from a section of the Mae Khong river where they form in whirlpool depressions in the bed and found in the dry season. Those are thought to have been formed by the swishing of a Naga's tail and are highly valued in Thailand as related to the forces of nature.
It looks like a stone eye and has an exceptional feeling due to it being strongly blessed to carry phenomenal amounts of Metta Maha Niyom (Metta and Popularity). It is very mysterious, very rare and was blessed by my favourite spiritual Master.
Measures 1.75" in its beautiful silver case.
Considered to only form in exceptional locations.
