This is a rare item as it was never released by the temple. This large Phra Pidtaa was made specifically for the purpose of the enchantment of one of the structures in Wat Sanomlao. All the statues and buildings in Wat Sanomlao, the original temple of my favourite magician, have been enchanted through the burial of old amulets, the old robes of Luang Phor and even some one strings of his beads.
Around 18 months ago they unearthed large jars from under a Buddha pagoda and had a ceremony to open them, which produced these Pidtaa amulets that are of earths and bone powders. They have all been given an authenticity card (last pic) from the year 1994 and there were many forms but I liked the purple ones. The yellow stuff around it is reckoned to be from Waan Sabu Luat, which brings great protection and the blessing is for Metta and popularity, two things which monks consider aid the life the most.
There is now very little to be found there (they think lol) and these are being sold for the upkeep of the temple, which is an amazing place. Phra Ajarn Chalerm now runs the place and is very happy in what he considers his spiritual home and I must go again and take some more photographs for a forthcoming book.
These measure 2.75" and come with Luang Phor's kata. Amazing items now cased in silver.
