Wat Sanomlao recently release some old stock of these items but they sold out in a day. This is the Roop Lor (an image of a monk in metal) of Luang Phor Pina that was released by the temple after his death in 2002. The image used is the one of him meditating through his own death and the quality of it is stunning (I wish they had made a bucha too!).
The Roop Lor is made from a mix of spiritual metals that were sourced at the Wat itself and underneath is a mixture of pong powders and one of LP Pina's lightning seeds. He was very famous for these and had an area set up on the hill behind the temple that was commonly hit by lightning that had hundreds of them waiting for the strike in the area. They carry a wonderful force and are just one of the aspects of his work that is exceptional.
At the same time as producing the roop lor, the temple also produced an enamel locket. I have an oval one but I only managed to get 2 of the lockets, one of which I will keep as it is unlikely that I will find any more. Products from this legendary monk are disappearing fast and this marks a rare chance to get an amulet that carries his image. I am also keeping one of these.
These measure 2" and will be sent with the original temple box. An exceptional item.
