This is the small version of a Roop Lor (an image of a monk in metal) of Luang Phor Pina that was released by the temple after his death in 2002. The image used is his classic pose I wish they had made a bucha too!
The Roop Lor is made from a mix of spiritual metals that were sourced at the Wat itself and underneath is a mixture of pong powders. They have placed one of LP Pina's lightning seeds on his lap and attached a piece of his robe to the front. He was very famous for the lightning seeds and had an area set up on the hill behind the temple that was commonly hit by lightning that had hundreds of them waiting for the strike in the area. They carry a wonderful force and are just one of the aspects of his work that is exceptional.
Products from this legendary monk are disappearing fast and this marks a rare chance to get an amulet that carries his image. This was mine, which is why it is cased in gold and as is usual when I sell personal items, this is the cost of the Roop Lor and the gold case, and that's it.
These measure 1.5" and comes with the kata to LP Pina.
An exceptional item.
