In the Thai Occult practices it is interesting to note that there is a substantial amount of Wicha dedicated to the old Indian gods that came here before Buddhism. One of these gods is often seen on banks and government buildings and he is known as Krut (Garuda) and in the Thai style is a bold, burly beast of a deity.
This superbly made amulet is by one of the great Lanna Krubas, Kruba Tau and it grants all the attributes because it is from a high god and with being from a top maker it has the capability of changing a persons life. Krut is particularly known for granting authority (hence his use with important institutions) but along with that comes attraction, Metta and great fortune because he clears a way through for those attributes. This is a great example of the stunning quality of Thai metal work and the blessing of a top monk.
It measures 2.25" and comes with the original case and the Namo Dtassa chant. An issue long sold out that came from old stock.
A beautiful amulet.

A Stunning Krut Amulet by Kruba Tau
There is still much of the original influence from India in the Thai Occult system and amulets to Ganesh, Shiva, Kali and most of the other Indian gods are produced from time to time. They carry most of the attributes in the same way as the high Buddhist pieces.
