I love a good Hoon Payon and this one is a stunner from Ajarn Tom of Chiang Mai. This is a Hun that is constructed from Yaa Khaa, the grass used for the roofs of country homes that has been bound with the thread from a funeral to form the body shape, during which process kata is constantly uttered. As a face he has a small chip of bone but on the back he has a chunk, like an oversized backpack. It's a brilliantly simple piece of effective magic that has quite a presence.
The Hoon Payon is a substitute body for the bearer to carry with you or keep at home and it takes the bad fortune instead of the owner. It has all the forms of protection within it against black magic and anyone who wishes you harm and all bad thought or curses will bounce back to your enemy. A Hoon Payon was my first amulet and I found that once the negative forces were pushed back, my good fortune was quite astonishing because as it holds the bad stuff back, the good stuff can come through easily. These are a very rewarding amulet.
Measures just over 3" and comes with a Hoon payon kata. A superbly cased effective piece of magic.
A Superb Hoon Payon Prai Amulet by Ajarn Tom of Chiang Mai
This is an ancient spell for protection that creates a second body that gets attacked instead of the bearer. This body can also absorb negative astrological influences, which can give a huge boost to the good fortune of the person wearing it.
