The Pidtaa is one of the classic Thai amulets and they predominently come from the great monks of the region, but this one is special because it contains a huge amount of male prai from a man who died in an accident. It is also by Ajarn Tui, who has a sledgehammer approach to making amulets, he really pushes some force in there.
The front shows the classic pose for the Pidtaa of the Buddha hiding his eyes to allow us the mistakes we make in life while granting Metta and improving our lives. The front was painted with a natural black lacquer and then had gold lead attached, which looks wonderful as the black comes through the cracks in the gold. The back holds 7 Takrut, which are all the same hand written pieces that takes a long time to do and the group of 7 then represent an extra kata from the Heart katas present on each Takrut, which relates to the formation of Phra Pidtaa. This is for Metta, popularity and protection from malicious forces. A classic brought to you with shitloads of top prai and a mighty blessing.
Measures 1.65" and comes with Ajarns card and kata. Can be silver cased for an extra $50.

A Potent Prai Phra Pidtaa Amulet by Ajarn Tui in silver
The Pid Taa is generally a pure Buddhist magic but it can also be Saiyasart when it has prai included to boost the power of how it works.
