A Tai Yai Prai Khun Paen by Phor Kru See Ong 2017 - the Ong Kru Version

Phor Kru See Ong is the great magician from Chiang Dao who follows the Wicha of Burma and the Tai Yai people. He had a burst of activity around 7 years ago but then went quiet, leaving usus with a few nice amulets, which includes this old style Khun Paen. There was a normal versions but it was only black and not very attractive, so finding these was a nice surprise.

The Muan Sarn in this contains Burmese Yaa, Tai Yai Wahn, and a nice collection of bone chips that came from a cemetery pit, along with cemetery earths. Into that he pressed a Takrut for activation and a coffin nail in one of the two I have, which acts to seal the magic within this piece. The other one I have is made of the same mix but has no nails, and instead has a rough old piece of elephant bone for extra authority (see pics).

Ajarn Apichai's luksit cased these and Ajarn said that while it looks like a Lanna style Khun paen, the blessing was Tai Yai. It is unusual to find a mix of Wahn and Prai from the Tai Yai.

It was blessed over a 3 month period to create a spirit body within. Whoever wears this amulets will get Metta and Maha Saneah to bring support from other people, spirits, and the angels too. It is also renowned for bringing sexual attraction from the opposite sex and there is also an element of windfall luck with this construction.

A cool piece of magic from a Tai Yai Master.

It measures 2.15" and comes with a Prai kata.

Magic from a great Prai Magician.

A Tai Yai Prai Khun Paen by Phor Kru See Ong 2017

  • Khun Paen was the warrior, womaniser and magician of legend. It was his story that carried the ways of magic of that time (the 1600's) forward through its telling. It is full of references to Panneng, Hoon Payon, enchantment, ghosts, baby roasting and more. Amulets to him generally have Prai and are made for Saneah, Authority, Protection and Enchantment, or a combination of one or all of those attributes.
