This is an absolutely fabulous Pujow Saming Prai amulet from the wild old necromancer, Ajarn Phor Na of NE Thailand. The best Pujow Samingprai have to have wild prai because then the Lersi can express his dominion over any ghosts in his presence.
Pujow Samingprai is the Lersi that controls the lower spirits and through that power provides protection and authority in the daily life of the bearer. You will always see a Pujow Samingprai in the Samnak of any Ajarn as he is one of the most useful Lersi he will work with. There may even be two masks to Pujow Samingprai and where there is, one will be for Sak Yant and one will be for controlling ghosts.
I adore a good Pujow Samingprai as it is very useful for people wanting to raise their level in life, and particularly effective for the slightly downtrodden. This one is insanely good and has life. He has been carved from one of the sticks that are made of Maai Khanun wood that are used to pierce a corpse during a traditional cremation to either stop the body from popping or to turn it over. Each time one of these is used it is blessed and they end up being a conduit to the higher deities that can be used as one piece to be a Mai Kru, or like here be used for amulets. They are rare as a Mai Kru because there is more money from them is used for an amulet (I have one and it is astonishing).
The wood is carved to show an open mouthed Pujow Samingprai sat on a skull and set into a strong red prai oil for attraction. He also has a plg of earths and prai underneath and this is one of the best Pujow's I have ever had. It will come with a belt loop to be worn lower down as the size befits this position.
Measures 4.25" and comes with the makers kata.
