This is a very special Luk Om that is made of the pure Mae Nua Hom that the Master monk, Luang Phor Pina used in much of his work. He was a monk for most of his life, studied with the legendary Ajarn Man, produced some of the wildest Prai amulets ever and was pronounced an arahant as he meditated through his own death in 2002.
This is Luang Phor Pina's legendary substance, Mae Nua Hom, which kinda translates as 'Mother of the sweet smelling flesh'. It was derived from a nun who died in an accident but he used quite a few nuns over the years - and yes, it did smell sweet. This occurs rarely and I have only found one other example of this kind where a prai oil can be made only if the hair of the deceased smells sweet. The meat of the nuns used (I think there were 3 in total - Mae Jon Pen being one of them) were highly potent for these works as they were devoted spiritual people who happened to die a violent death. This substance drove the sales of his works which was used to build his temple, Wat Sanomlao, near to Saraburi, and this is a ball of the pure, unadulerated substance, meat made into a ball.
This is bless for great fortune and there is no more, I got the last one. Bought directly from Wat Sanomlao on a recent visit so I have had it beautifully cased.
Measures 1.15" and comes with Luang Phor's amulet kata.
A legendary substance from Thailand's wild necro past.

An Original Mae Nua Hom Luk Om by LP Pina in silver
A Luk Om is a ball like amulet that can be made of any thing, from Puttakhun Buddhist mixtures to balls of meat from a prai body. I love them as they are both discrete and potent.
