The storerooms of the country are being emptied.
These are two beautiful Maa Saep Nang Prai amulets from a lovely old maker called Kruba Duangjan of Lamphun, close to Chiang Mai, who passed away a few years ago. He was famous for Saneah amulets and I adore the old, rustic style just using a mixture of earths from graveyards and female bone powder.
The image here is of a Maa Saep Nang with an Inn Khoo riding the horse, so Kruba Duangjan has used both spells in this piece, making it fantastic for both finding a partner either for sex or for life itself. They are at least 15 years old but have never been used and have aged wonderfully to become an example of the ways of old. The stamp on the back is more modern as these have been stored at the temple for many years, continually absorbing the spiritual energy of the Wat.
The amulets measure around 2" with one in a black case and one in a glassy brown.
Harking back to the magic of old, these will be very efficient pieces.
