Finding good old amulets that have been made using Burmese Wicha is now very difficult indeed as they are snapped up by collectors around Asia, particularly in China. This is an old Tai Yai talisman and a highly unusual type.

The image of the frog is related to the moon here and this is made from a herbal Yaa mixture for Serm Duang, which refreshes the lines of fate. The way it has been made is similar to some of the golden bee amulets in that it has a pea inside and mercury! This was easier to feel when bought without a case as it moved when the frog was shook but due to the viscocity of the mercury the pea moved slower than the shake. The presence of blessed mecury in this piece really boosts the power and when needing a hit of magic to help with the daily like, hold the silver ring down and give it a shake (in this was you can feel the pea move rather than the ring). This is a very rare item that is over 50 years old and these are so rare now, especially when considering the current tragic mess in Myanmar.

Amulets such as this need pure offerings, enjoying green bananas, unopened coconuts, pineapple as a fruit, sweet smelling flowers, scents, and a jar of honey on the altar. Praising Burmese items has a simple beauty that astounds.

It is an exceptional piece of spiritual work that measures 1.9" in its fine silver case.

Burmese Wicha is renowned for its potent herbal mixtures as well as the blessings the maker can give, and this amulet is a testament to that statement.
