A Fine 10" Mai Kru Athan Wand by Ajarn Sano - 2018
This comes from old stock and I got the last three. It is an exceptional example of the art of the Mai Kru, the teachers staff, or wand if in the Western lands.
This was made from Makham wood that died in a temple grounds, but blessed by an Ajarn rather than a monk. It follows the concept of Ton Chi Tai, Phlai Chi Pen - which means to bring the dead from the head and bring the life from the base. The head is the larger end and each end has a different use. To bring the dead means to bring the end to an obstacle, a problem, bad luck, evil spirits, black magic and all bad things. You can use this to point to the enemy to make them lose, to influence business and to help in court cases. It can be use to stir water to bless it to remove bad things where ever it is sprinkled.
To use it point the thin end of the wand in the air and say the kata and then knock on your own head to bring the good things to you. It is this end for blessings, bringing luck and fortune and making baths or water to drink. It comes in a presentation box with a hand scripted interior, and the thin end holds a Takrut, because I can hear it rattle slightly in one of the wands. Due to weight and delivery costs, the box will not be sent.
This Mai Kru is stunning, and they are now rare.
Measures 10" and comes with a ritual that is performed when this gets to your home, the details of which will be sent to buyers. The instructions for use are also great.

LAST TWO Fine 10" Mai Kru Athan Wand by Ajarn Sano - 2018
A Mai Kru is a 'Teachers Staff', a wand for the work with magic and they come in many forms. It is uncommon to be able to acquire them now, which is why these are generally made to order or come from a very limited run. They are very difficult to acquire from abroad and we do our best to ensure that there's always one or two on the site.
