The Phra Khun Paen with 9 Gold Takruts by Luang Phor Khun - 2014 - Metta Saneah
This is a special Phra Khun Paen ( a Khun Paen without Prai) by one of the greatest monks of the great generation, Luang Phor Khun. These came from original unused stock in their original temple cases, so I instantly bought both of them. There are only 2 available.
This was made towards the end of Luang Phor Khun's life as a monk of renown with a magic that was capable of changing the lives of his devotees. He was so famous that even the old King Bhumibol used to see him if he was in the area, and the local people adored him. He was particularly famous for donating the millions that the temple had to the country during the economic crisis in 1997.
As with the other top works of Luang Phor Khun, the Muan Sarn for this is phenomenal. It contains herbs for Metta and Saneah, a famous iron ore, and diamond dust, into which were pressed 9 gold takruts two cut gems, a ball of leklai and a piece of the robe of Luang Phor. It's stunning.
It would be impossible to make this for this price now due to the price of gold.
This measures 2.45" and comes with a Buddhist kata.
It goes on the deity altar.
Exceptional magic from a great Thai monk.

Khun Paen was the warrior, womaniser and magician of legend. It was his story that carried the ways of magic of that time (the 1600's) forward through its telling. It is full of references to Panneng, Hoon Payon, enchantment, ghosts, baby roasting and more. Amulets to him generally have Prai and are made for Saneah, Authority, Protection and Enchantment, or a combination of one or all of those attributes. Great monks have also made fantastic versions without Prai to bring a similar source of magic.
