The Yaa Chintamunee Phra Kham beads by Luang Phor Chua 2008

We are currently exploring what can be done with the Phra Kham beads that are used to count kata, as counting is particularly important at this time because the physical action helps our Samathi.

These beads are as famous as the maker, Luang Phor Chuea, who was renowned for his Bia Gae and his Yaa Chintamunee. This is one of the most famous Yaa and its proximity to the body boosts out natural good fortune within, and the smell is still there. All good Yaa mixes have a health aspect from proximity and through the smell, and the smell from these is still strong after 17 years. This is because the large bags they came in have been sealed since they were made. There is also a nice old photo of LP Chuea in the bag.

The finial is made of Yaa Chintamunee, and there is some of the Yaa in each 'seed'. They feel amazing in the hand and feel great to wear. These are best used for counting other kata as they still bring the proximity magic we are looking for while boosting the effect of another talisman.

The Yaa Chintamunee Phra Kham are now rare, and from one of the greatest magical monks, who sadly passed shortly after these were released.

Paypal payments now have a 7% sales tax due to changes in our company status.

The standard set rate for post is now $15, and any orders over $300 qualify being sent by FedEx at no extra cost, although you will be charged if outside the area. Mai Kru, Miit Mhor, Books and the framed Yant Duang have the postage set at $55. For the cost of extra books please check the listings.
For those areas of the world that need all parcels to be sent by FedEx - Canada, Italy, South America and Africa - the minimum order is $300 and I send by FedEx at my expense, but you will pay the extra fee if you live outside the area. I no longer post to Mexico. Instead, have friends from the US bring you what you need as your customs department is a little over zealous.

  • The importance and variety of Phra Kham beads available is misunderstood and we are begining to explore what is possible. We already have Mercury amalgam beads and volcanic beads, but I would love other types as well to encourage people to protect themselves through the action of saying kata.
