The Phra Kruang Leklai Thaat Din by Ajarn Apichai - the Earth Element

These exceptional amulets utilise the best work of Luang Phor Somporn, and these Earth element pieces are some of his top works. I had Ajarn Apichai then work on these further by adding a Muan Sahn, a Takrut and an extra blessing. He described these blessings as if Luang Phor Somporn had blessed them himself.

This has a Muan Sahn of Pong Phuttakhun, Pong Maharat, Pong Ittijae and Pong Pattaman, and Pong Trinisinghae, all hand made by Ajarn Apichai. There is also Wahn 108, Leh Nam Phi, Yaa Chintamunee, powdered Leh Phra Sivali, and powdered sompoi.

This is a Phuttakhun amulet that should be praised to bring virtue and prestige, as well as success. It is also made to have protection powder from all bad things or evil forces, and bring Metta Mahaniyom to bring love and support from people and the angels. All the forms also bring good luck and good fortune. Each type of Leklai has its own element, and each will bring its own attribute.

The Earth Element brings Kong Grapan that protects from all weaponry, and balancing the Earth element also brings strength to the physical body and to the mind. Those who have a weak Earth element are often uninspired and low in health.

Earth Leklai does not have the power to expand or shrink or change its weight but it still needs to be praised with honey (a spot on the case once a year is fine) and if made by a potent magician from a top lineage that understands Leklai it can bring great blessings to life. These old pieces are now very rare, and this amulet has 'jit' - a residing spirit that has been invited into the piece.

A mysterious magic that will serve you well, and there are 3 available. The cases on all of them measure the same at 2.2" and they come with an element specific erath element kata by Ajarn Apichai. I only have the 3 shown in the pics.

Superb ancient magic that has now been updated that go on the deity altar.

  • Leklai is one of the legendary substances used in The Thai Occult practices and there appears to be many types. Some are metallic and have good weight, and some are light, almost like a weird form of jet and a lot more work needs to be done on this subject.

There appear to be many forms of Leklai, but it usually looks like a metallic element that is considered a living being of the Deva classification but a Deva that has been born on Earth. There are many varieties of this substance available on the market and more continually comes to light but much of it is of a dubious nature. Some of it resembles Haematite as it becomes like a mirror when polished and it also possesses magnetic qualities that are helpful to health. Other forms look like a meteorite, and still, another looks like a conglomerate of small black crystals, which has lead to confusion in this field as they all purport to serve a similar function for the bearer. Having handled many Leklai amulets, it is the opinion of the author that it can be placed into two categories. Firstly, a metallic and magnetic mineral that can be used by the makers to help cleanse the body, much in the same way as the plethora of magnetic amulets available in the world today and secondly, true Leklai, which can be from many sources and of many types. It can come in many colours and must have a property that is supernatural, in that it does not conform to the laws of nature. (The Thai Occult Book p456)
