Huge 16" Miit Mhor Knives by Luang Pu Mi - US only
This incredible 16" Miit Mhor knife has just been received after being ordered in advance a while back. It is from a famous old monk called Luang Pu Im, and the ritual knives from monks work in a different way to the knives from an Ajarn.
Firstly, they hold no prai and no mix of materials, but the metal used is special as it will have melted old Buddhas and the hinges from a Wat within the mix. The mix is blessed as it is melted and even some gold may be added to bring some great fortune to the knife. This one has an image of Luang Pu in the blade and plenty of script, so it is a fantastic piece despite the price. These are cheaper because they made hundreds at the same time in various sizes, which this huge 16" version being the biggest.
This has been blessed to bring the power of the deities to the knife, giving it the power of protection. It helps remove bad luck and bad fortune, evil spirits, repels the people with bad intent to make their efforts pointless and can be used to make blessed water. To do this, circle the knife clockwise in a bucket of water while saying the kata, and this water can be used for a bath, to drink or sprinkled around the house, car, shop or any other place of business. This removes any bad things present and bring happiness to the area, and even achieves the same with a person by tapping the handle on their head. It can also be used to form a protective barrier by using the knife to draw on the floor or ground around whatever you want to protect such as your living space, the home, the area around the bed etc It is best to keep the blade oiled and sesame oil works well for this.
Measures 16" in the scabbard and the knife will be sent 'locked', in that the blade is pushed down in the scabbard so lift the handle to release when you receive this piece. These are not of the quality of those by Ajarn Apichai but they are very affordable, which is important during lulls in the world economy. Each will be sent in a tube, and this has to be ordered on its own with courier post as nothing else can be sent with this order.
Knives such as this have a value beyond what they cost and there is a ritual to perform when bringing this into the home for the first time. Please take care not to cut yourself with this knife as the wound will be very slow to heal.
