One of the unique things that marks the Burmese system of magic is how they produce their Muan Sarn mixtures and tthere appears to be hundreds of them, all serving a different purpose and many are linked to the cults surrounding the famous Weiza immortals. This mixture has been made by Kruba Sam of Myanmar to make his Phra Kham beads, which are by far the most affordable of this style of holy beads.
The Burmese style of bead are made by putting the herbal mixture around a Takrut and then adding lacquer to finish the bead and protect the inside. From the side you can see the Takrut, which also protects the bead from the string. These are beautiful and a style that is difficult to get.
These are best for both counting kata and also as a pure Buddhist amulet that brings ALL the attributes but particularly Metta and safety from all harm.
Stunning Burmese Herbal Mixture Phra Kham Beads by Kruba Sam
Burmese magic is both mysterious and potent with different ways than their Thai neighbours. Much of the magic comes from the cults of the Weiza and involves mercury and strange techniques. There are also few amulets produced from the systeem and I endeavor to find what is available as there are devoted fans of this system.
