The Carved Rahu Galaa Amulets by Luang Pu Tan Suan - 1993
The amulet was made in around 1993 and were part of the work to make Luang Pu a legend with the making of Rahu talismans. These were blessed in Wat Maha Chai Mai, which was made possible through the support of the many Ajarns who followed this important old monk. This ceremony was the cream on the cake because Luang Pu had them on his personal altar for a very long time before this, blessing them every day.
One remarkable thing about these, besides the instantly recognisable style (which I find rather cool), is that wese were carved using Miit Mhor knives and the letters on the back were done with Mai Kru. The letters are from a Laos Wicha and the whole construction is remarkable.
This amulet carries the power of Phuttakhun magic and comes from a monk who was an expert at Rahu to bring protection, luck and fortune and those who like to test their luck through gambling. It carries the attribute of serm duang to boost the astrology and fate of the bearer.
This is one of the greatest Rahu magicians in Thai magic. These are now rare and expensive but when acquiring something to benefit your life, what is cost if it works? Rahu is famous for raising the fates and the fortunes, which is the attribute of lifting the lines of fate and fortunes. This is what Rahu is famous for, and it is why the people of this region turn to Rahu when things get tough, or when he enters the astrology, as he did in October 2023, and will change sign again in April 2025.
Rahu likes to have offerings on the full moon, periods of eclipse and Buddhist days, enjoying 8 black foods and candles, the details of which will be given to the buyer. I find it best to put him and the offering in the light of the full moon or any partial eclipse, because the energy is giddy! I love Rahu as an extremely rewarding deity if praised correctly.
This Rahu is a fantastic size at 1.9" in it's fine silver case and comes with his Heart kata.
Legendary beneficial magic - and yes, I have 2.

THE LAST Carved Rahu Galaa Amulets by Luang Pu Tan Suan - 1993
The Rahu talisman is an ancient invocation of Brahmin forces to realign the lines of fate into a more favourable direction. He has specific needs and the best ones are made from one eyed coconut, which can bring a surprising clout to the item. Rarely prai in nature but they can be made from a galaa that has been used in funerary practices of old or to mix materials for spells and incantations.
It is considered extremely difficult to contact the higher gods, but Rahu is a little easier as he can be regarded as being half god and half devil. Many people have a period in life where their luck is bad, business is terrible, and there are many problems; then this is the time to pray to Rahu to clear away the negative elements in life and bring better things.
