I thought I should list a few real Buddhist amulets rather than you buying the unblessed rubbish online, and it is possible to get astonishing ones at an affordable price. This is one of the old Jatukham amulets from Luang Phor Chamnan, who was one of the main makers of these items during the frenzied craze for them 20 years back.
These amulets we first produced with the help of Khun Phan, a legendary Policeman and magician from the South who gave a hand making the first ones in around 1987, which proved to be phenomenal amulets. They use two spirits of ancient Thai Princes that bring protection and good fortune to the bearer and Khun Phan believed that these two spirits helped him solve a difficult murder case but it wasn't till around 2006 that these became wildly popular. People believed in their power to bring good fortune and smooth out the problems of life and most (like this one) were made in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

These amulets were a phenomenon and there is a brisk trade in the most famous ones. They contain many sacred ingredients and even the ashes from burned incense from some of the top temples in the country. This ash came about through the wishes of others at important spiritual places and brought a great deal of Buddhism magic with them. Add to this a rare set of herbs and the craze continued for a few years, which actually resulted in small riots and even a death where a lady was trampled in the rush for a new release. Following this, their making was calmed down but they still hold the fame and that fame came from their efficiency.

I adore top Buddhist amulets, they are both special and affordable, and these came from old stock.

Measures 2.95" and comes with the original temple case for authenticity and the Namo Dtassa kata.

The Classic Jatukham Amulet of LP Chamnan from 2007

  • Pure Buddhist amulets (without Prai materials) are known as Puttakhun magic and they work in a gentler way but still offer sustained magical force.
