A Locket to Luang Phor Up - 2009 - for Great Fortune and Connection
I love the work of Luang Pu Up and used to visit his temple to pay respect at the altar of Mae Nang Phim, which has a fantastic feeling. I was please when I found these in old stock.
   This series of amulets was created to raise funds for the construction of monks' living quarters and other temple buildings at Wat Thong Sai, in Nakhon Pathom. The consecration ceremony, where the amulets are spiritually blessed, was performed by Luang Pu Up on April 18, 2009.
   Luang Pu Up was known for his deep knowledge of magical arts and traditional medicine, having studied under several famous masters. His amulets are highly sought after by devotees, with a particular emphasis on those bestowing charm, fortune, and protection. He was especially famous for his "Nang Phimpha" and "Dam Sen" amulets, which are associated with powerful charisma and attraction.
   The red mark visible on the case is a dot of sacred paste or wax, often applied during the blessing ceremony as an additional mark of consecration from the monk. The golden designs on the case are yantras, which are believed to provide protection and enhance the power of the amulet within. This locket is  from the "Maha Chok Maha Setthi" series, like this one, are believed to bring the wearer great fortune, wealth, and success.
   The Muan Sarn for this includes many herbs grown at the temple, along with hair from Luang Pu, which aids connection and brings a supernatural quality to the amulet. A square of his robe is also on the locket. There are three Takruts in three metals in this piece, which relate to money, good fortune and the connection to this old Guru monk.
This fine old locket measures 2.8" and comes with a Buddhist kata.
