The Incredible Blood Prai Kuman by Ajarn Apichai
Ajarn Apichai is a sublime magical creature who began his studies as a young child with his Grandfather. By the time he as 11 he was tapping Nam Man Prai as a young monk, and then he became the Lanna Khun Paen with a literal group of ladies on his tail. He has never stopped learning and is now a respected astrology, a lineage holder of the Wicha of Luang Pu Suk, and a magical force in his own right.

The Blood Prai Kuman occult manual (Kuman Prai Luat) is a rare and secretive sorcery tradition derived from ancient undertaker lineages that Ajarn is now willing to undertake.
This ancient and mysterious manual was passed down through a lineage of undertakers who were friends of Ajarn’s grandfather. It is a profound occult science encompassing the arts of Kuman Thong, Luk Krok, and Payon animated effigies that possess powers for protection, countering curses, and active tasks.
The original tradition involved ritual tattooing (which Ajarn has on his shoulder), and the blood mentioned in the manual is the blood of the owner, who acts like the Kuman’s parent. This signifies that the Father/Mother and the Kuman are of the same bloodline, of one family. Two secret herbal oils are used for the tattoo, and when blood emerges from the tattoo it mixes with the oil to bind the Kuman Prai Luat directly to the owner’s body. The intent is that Family does not harm Family, but enemies who harbour ill will toward the father or the bloodline will be struck down or face misfortune through the Kuman’s power.
Unlike typical Kuman Thong, which are rarely offered blood or raw items, this manual uses blood as a specific Payon Trick for empowerment: The normal offerings for this Kuman are sweet water, milk, fruit, rice, and snacks, but there are also empowerment offering that are used when assigning tasks, protecting territory, or striking enemies. These consist of raw beef or cow’s blood that is offered so the spirit of the blood merges with the Kuman. This transforms the Kuman into a "Kuman riding a Cow/Buffalo" to carry out missions (this makes it similar to a Wua Thanu).
After being fully consecrated and tempered with calming spells to ensure the safety of the worshiper, the Kuman Prai Luat provides the following:
1 - Ultimate Protection: Guards the home, shop, or territory; warns of danger.
2 - Retribution: If an enemy intends serious harm, the Kuman will attack them, causing misfortune based on that person's karma.
3 - Prosperity: Brings luck, business success, and wealth.
4 - Matchmaking: Can be asked to "find a Father/Mother/Sibling" to join the family, helping the owner find a partner or connections.How to Initiate the Kuman when you first receive it. To bind the spirit according to the manual:
1. The Blood Bond: Prick your finger slightly and touch a drop of blood to the Kuman’s casing/frame.
2. The Declaration: Say: "Father/Mother and Child are of the same blood. Father/Mother, do not harm. If enemies think ill or plot harm, you may strike them!" • Note: This is not "feeding" the Kuman blood, but a spiritual covenant binding the souls.
3. Introduction: Light 1 incense stick. Introduce yourself as the Father/Mother, and name every member of the household so the Kuman recognizes the "bloodline" and knows who to protect.
During the process of making these pieces, a sacred powder is wiped onto the chest of the Kuman but then dampened with prai oil to stop it flaking. The powder used consists of Pong Pathamang Kamnoet (The Powder of Origin), Pong Na 108 (108 Sacred 'Na' Yantra Powders), and Pong Nipphan Sut (The Nirvana Formula Powder). The incantation used during the anointing is intended to 'open the eyes' and facilitate 'Juti' (the process of birth). This step must be performed individually for each statue to bring the Kuman to life and complete the consecration process.
This is a larger amulet that will come on a thick cord. It is traditionally black with red around the mouth and these will have a lab ruby in the chest. You will also get the details as to how to name your Blood Kuman.
This measures 3.05" and comes with Ajarn's card and a specific kata.
A ghost child for the Prai altar, but it has to be separated when offering meat or blood. Other amulets cannot share this offering.
