This is a great example of the range of work that Ajarn Phrot used to produce, and the quality of it is exceptional.
The Maa Saep Nang is a sacred design that has long been part of the Lanna tradition of charms. It is believed to have originated from the Burmese and Tai Yai (Shan) people and it is an expression of ultimate charm. No one knows exactly when it first appeared in the Lanna kingdom, but it has been popularly used since ancient times due to its potent effects in charm and attraction.
According to ancient texts, the Maa Saep Nang has a powerful amorous effect, and those who use it should do so with morality. The silver itself contains many blessed silver Takruts that were melted with a 925 silver to produce a casting of great beauty, because the Thai people have great skill in the casting of amulets.
The bottom of the amulet is filled with pure Pong Saneah Maha Laluay (a powder for a bewitching charm), which possesses qualities related to love, desire, and is favored by philanderers. It contains a pure gold Takrut Saneah Fa Pha (Thunder Saneah Takrut), which was consecrated during a lightning storm with many charm incantations. This is a magical technique intended for the charm of the wearer to strike the heart of the opposite sex as strongly and as quickly as a bolt of lightning, especially when meeting someone or desiring them. This silver version is additionally embedded with Thao Wahn Long (a type of vine believed to have powers of delusion), which adds the quality of causing infatuation and delusion towards the person who carries it.
Praise this amulet with cooked rice and kataIt measures 2.5" and comes with Ajarn Phrot's card and a specific kata! Not the Samnak kata.
